 For over 24 years Starbrook has made nothing but Surlyn film. We developed a process that clads automotive dashboards with Surlyn film, preventing migration of urethane foam into areas where it is not wanted. As part of our automotive program, we developed Surlyn recycling capability and have been recycling Surlyn for over 20 years. We worked closely with DuPont when Stretch Pack was being developed and are the original manufacturers of Stretch Pack film. We have made packaging film for over 10 years and have made more non-wet style Surlyn film than all other manufacturers combined. For the last few years, all our packaging film was sold under an exclusive private label arrangement. In order to best serve our customers, we decided to sell film under our own name. So while we have decades of experience, we are the Best Kept Secret in Skin Packaging. Today, Starbrook is bringing it's unique experience, capabilities and attitude to the packaging industry and beyond. We supply film anywhere the unique clarity, strength and speed of Surlyn is appreciated. We have the only Surlyn-only factory anywhere. We are Surlyn experts. We welcome new applications and have the capability to recommend proper materials to those who are considering skin packaging. For existing skin packaging customers we can help refine and improve your process either through recommendations of better materials or through our incremental improvement program. For customers using Bi-Vac, Dixie Pac, Multi Vac and similar machines, we have film that is more economical than the multi-layer barrier films that are often used.
